This small format has an intimate quality. The background is textured and heavily layered with paint. On top of that, I applied a few loose shapes in a very minimal arrangement. A highly glossy varnish makes this little gem literally shine. The irregular lines, color palette, and composition serve as a kind of homage to the popular comic character Poison Ivy.
